hello nice humans. i will not bite you.
i am roscoe and i am a good boy and i am twelve which means i am a fine old man and very handsome.
john says that 237 of you have pledged moneys to fund his comic book project, and that makes him very happy, and when john is happy he sometimes gives me treats. so i thank you for that little bit of a donut and for the peanut-butter fingers.
do not forget that this campaign has lots of stretch goals, so there are surprises waiting for you. i like surprises, but sometimes they make me bark. it's okay though, it's nothing to worry about and i can calm down.
john showed me the script for chapter 5 and i didn't like it very much, so i convinced him to put more of that cool horse in the story and he did and now it is better. that horse is cool.

Hey team, this is John the writer ... uh, writing you now. I watched the campaign gain about two grand before I went to bed last night, and now that I'm off work on Wednesday, it's at 5K and 176 backers.
Twenty-four hours out of the gate, and y'all are making it clear that this project has fans. Not just fans, but numerous and generous ones.
The only reason I got into the comics game is because I had stories to tell and I wanted to share them with you. Your support means the world to me. Everybody says something like that, but this kind of love really does keep me going.
Thanks for everything so far. I hope you're ready for Chapter 5, because it's a heavyweight. By the time we wrap up this cycle with Chapter 6, I hope to have traumatized you all just a little. Sorry/not sorry.
